Coach Byron will be moderating the Forum for Ethics in the Workplace at DeSales University on March 25, 2021. This next series topic is entitled “Ethical Leadership: Renewing Your Purpose”. Due to the continued covid-19 pandemic, the event will be held virtually Thursday morning from 8:00-9:00 am. The DeSales Forum is inviting Lehigh Valley business leaders to join this latest event to learn and re-examine their purpose and motivation behind business endeavors moving forward into the remainder of 2021.
Coach Byron will be joined by two panelists: Tom Salvaggio President of CAI, and Tyrone Russell Chief Executive Officer of Faces International Marketing and Development LLC, to discuss how they navigated through uncharted territory this last year caused by covid-19.
The pandemic of the past year has caused many business leaders to revisit and perhaps rethink their purpose. Some questions business leaders should be asking themselves are as follows.
Obviously people and businesses work to serve customers and earn money, however most businesses also consider their work to be part of some type of mission to improve the lives of the people around them such as their customers. Whether these businesses are serving customers who are individuals or other businesses, the pandemic caused many leaders to step back and reassess their core business values, their vision, and their mission. Hopefully this served to help them to better serve their customers and the surrounding Lehigh Valley community.
